  1. I am a new graduate from and LPN to RN bridge program here in Tulsa, OK. I currently work as an LPN and make around $20 per hour. I have asked around other RN's during clinicals and was told that starting pay for RN's at the local hospitals is only $17. I am confused. Why would I make less as an RN? In Dallas, I was told it would be around $28-30 per hour. I am just wondering what other nurses are making around here. You don't have list your acctual pay. but I am just wondering the average salary/pay for RN's in the tulsa and surrounding areas. I looked on Salary.com but that site does not match what the RN's that I have spoken to have told me. It would be a great help if any of you can supply me with this information. Thank you. By the way, I also tried calling some of the hospitals, but they couldn't give me that information, they said we can only discuss pay information at the point of employment! Thank you all!
