  1. HELLO EVERYONE, I have a question that i really need help on. I dont need any legal advice. I just want to hear your opinions or similar cases. I would like to know if the BON of nursing can deny you for your nursing license if you have not been convicted of a felony case but you have one pending, which would most likely get drop but it just take time.Maybe even up to another year because it has be going on for a year already. This is a theft felony case. Also i know they ask for the final court papers but as you see the case is not final. So my question is can you be denied your license because of a pending court case that you plede not guilty on. thank you so much to those who took the time out to read it and for your response.oh im in ill.
  2. Thank you. I look on the nursing website and it says that they do not consider connections with applying for your state board if you have an arrest record not followed by a conviction. so she will be ok.
  3. Hi, everyone I need some advice and hope that anyone can help me. Me and my sister went to lpn in school together. And we are finished, we just have to do our 90 hours. While in school my sister got into some trouble when she was working to pay for school.let me add that she had nothing to do with it. it was wrong place, wrong time situation.well anyway she got arrested for theft and is still going to court now for this case. she has not been convited of anything.she also have finish school and is doing her 90hours so that she cant send in the application to take the state board.now let me explain the theft situation. she got in trouble for ringing up an employee that was using her credit card to do illegal transaction and there was no way that she could have known the transaction was illegal because the credit card was in the employee name. and she got arrested because they had to arrest anyone that came in contact with the card even if they did not have anything to do with it. it was a total of 8 people arrested all together. My sister have never been in trouble before and she has always been in school. her lawyer that is handling this case say she have a good chance of dismissing it because he do not she any legal transactions she made. now my question is do you thing that she can still take her state boards with a case pending against her because she has not be convicted or charged. and she have letter from people explaining the type of person she is. and she is a good person. can anyone give me advice to pass along that can help her. Or can you give me advice on what she can do. Nursing is very important to her and this is something she love to do. thank you for reading
