  1. I will be starting 1st semester. I picked up the books today. Wow they are heavy. Do you guys have to carry books to school sometimes? I am so scared, I am taking AP 2 with my 1st semester of nursing class.
  2. which book for assessment?
  3. Wow! you won't be taking any break in between. What a determination. You go girl!!!
  4. I am taking AP, life span, speech, and Anthropology. What are you taking this semester? Or are you taking a break?
  5. Hi Aileen, did you fill out the application for spring 2010? I just did mine and I hope I wrote everything right. I would hate not being able to get in for technicality. What class are you taking this semester?
  6. I know people on warefare can see their Drs anytime they want. My family insurence is about $1100 a month. I just had annual physical with blood tests. Cost me over $200 on top of my normal premium I pay. ( I am scared to death about getting sick) I deal a lot with warefare single moms and let me say they have better insurence than I do for free. One thing I wish is that there should be condition for to qualifying for government warefare (I am not talking about insurence) These women (I mostley dealt with single moms) should have a removable birth control implanted. If receipient is in a financial situation without needing the warefare and wish to have the birth control removed that the warefare agency would remove without cost to the person. I personally saw young mothers having more kids while being on warefare. If these young moms can't support the kids without needing warefare, well I think they shouldsn't have kids. I hope there would be other options for me to have insurence other than the greedy insurence company.
  7. I still need to take General education for CLC and I was wondering how hard they were. CMM 127 or ANT 221 or ANT 228. I also need a humanity course. Were they more of report writing or doing exam? Thanks in advance
  8. Dr. D. She was hard but I also heard the other day professor was hard too. Dr. D. exam question was quite tricky and had quiz once a week for lab. I haven't heard about night instructor but few people who fell her class was going to take night class for second time around. You have to really study regulary, it's hard class to cram before exam. I did feel I learned alot and I did enjoy the subject.
  9. I pretty much only review the book. The only biology I had in my life is the bio 123 at CLC. I have bad memory so I just kept on reading the review book over and over for couple of weeks. There were only couple of questions on anatomy (thank goodness, I have not had AP yet). I kept on doing the review test over and over. I got 50 out of 60 they counted right. With Math I kept on doing the practice test over and over and checked over what I did wrong until I really understood what went wrong. The question in math is not the question you think at first so you really have to read. I thought the math was easier on NLN but I still missed 6 out of 40 they counted. I bet I miss read the question then too. I have been out of school for over 20 yrs, so I really think if I can pull it off anyone can. Hope we all get in!!
  10. It's probably good that you don't take micro with your nursing. I just finished micro in the spring, was very hard. Who is your instructor going to be? I am hoping to start 2010 spring. I thought I did miserable on my nln b/c I really didn't get to finish verbal but just got my score and I got 98%. Science and math saved me. I am just waiting to take certification exam for my CNA. Will be taking A&PI and psyII this fall. I am just so excited now that I might get in the program I'm antsy:bugeyes:. I really thought that I might have to take nln at least couple of times.
  11. Anyone starting at CLC for Spring of 2010? I just took my NLN and I think I have good score for me to get accepted. I read from earlier post from CLC group and seem great how they got to know each other before the school started J.S.
