  1. How hard was the placement exam? And was the program really competitive? :)
  2. I never knew that they had a Nursing School until my friend told me about it. Does anybody know anything about it, besides the fact that it offers an ADN program? Also, would it be a good idea to follow the ADN or BSN route? I'm planning to finish my pre-reqs to apply for the BSN programs in the Cal State system, but due to this economy, I would be glad if I get into any program. And how long would it generally take to go from ADN to BSN?
  3. How long does it generally take to finish the pre-reqs for nursing school? I'm in California right now and the budget cuts are really taking a toll at my community college. Most of the classes that I need are either full or canceled, and the board recently decided to cancel winter session. I'm afraid that I'll have to stay for 3+ years.
  4. Hello, I'm a college freshman who wants to transfer to CSULB's nursing program in the near future. I was wondering if anybody knows the average GPA for their nursing transfer students. I am worried because I took two courses at my community college this summer, and I already received a B in one of them; that leaves me with a 3.5 GPA. However, I plan to bring it up as the year progresses. I would also appreciate it if you can provide a list of nursing schools that offers nursing programs for transfer students (preferably cal states).
