Hello some know my story some dont. I work in a hospital (non health care related position) I want to become a Nurse i have not started at all, In a year i will be moving to Phoenix. Now how does this certification program works? im thinking new age training? Can i do that first then go out and get a degree maybe a combination? Also does my certification count in PHX? what program should i start with?

Thanks im not sure about the waiting list over in arizona but inneed to get my pre reqs done here before i leave so i can apply there. Im beginning for the first time. Im just wondering when i can leave like when will i be done with my pre reqs.

Thanks well how long do pre reqs take? A semester? i may also only have time for pre reqs then i may be moving west an may be applying there im in nyc now.

Ill be starting my pre-reqs in january, how long after that can i apply to the nursing program?

I live in manhattan but i am willing to travel. I did check city tech but people who go there said that you need an average of 3.5 now where am i going to get that from? Haha i need a place that will accept me i just dont know what to do

Hello i work in a mayor hospital in new york #6 in the world but i work in te laundry and i deliver linen haha. Im 24 years old i got my GED years ago and got this job after never went backto school now i regret this so much, anyway. I have this growing passion for nursing. Im at the hospital 70% of my time and everyday i just wish it was me helping these patients out. I always find myself trying to look into operation rooms and looking at what nurses are doing. This is what gets me excited about going to work. Now the hard part, what do i do? I want to start my nursing program but i dont want no lincoln tech i really do not know where to start please help!
