Hi, I am a 47 y.o. career changer. from finance to Nursing. Some of the reasons I chose Nursing was the satisfaction I got in caring for three family members from onset of cancer to death. Sounds strange? I love clinical and really like to help the elderly. Here is the dilemma. I have a family and would like to work part time every W/E to gain experience once I pass the boards. However, I live in Massachusetts and I hear there are limited jobs! If I can't find a job in 6 months from graduation, do I continue on or keep plugging to find a job? Your Advice please. Thanks

Hi, I'm a 47 Y.O. finance professional in my last year of nursing school. I love it. I live in Massachusetts and jobs at an entry level are tough right now but over the long term I'm confidents things will get better. School is tough but it can get done. Good Luck. John
