  1. I'm wondering for all those who started their nursing program straight out of high school if you felt that you wern't ready for the practicums/clinicals at 17/18 years. Do you think that if you were a couple years older that you would be able to handle them any better? Thanks!
  2. Oh...thank you, I guess I'll just call or email them and figure it out. ...hmmm if that's the case how's the job hiring from out of province? would I have to register for both Alberta and BC?...cause I want to eventually come back to BC and work there
  3. I just got accepted to the University of Lethbridge nursing program but I would rather go to Langara college RN program but because of the long waitlist that wouldn't be plausible for this coming year. Does anyone know if it's possible to go to Lethbridge and then transfer my credits to Langara and finish my degree there?
  4. I"m in high school interested in becoming a nurse but i was wondering, i know there are some colleges/universities that accept people right after high school but specifically which ones accept people straight out of high school?...or at least those that have a good chance of getting in. And if you're on the waitlist for a 1-3 years would you have to apply each year? or do you just wait for the uni/college answer if you got in? Also for those who prefer having a degree, what degree would be good for pre-nursing?
