I am 51 and graduate next month. I currently work as an Executive Director for a non-profit. I am still working at my job and doing my preceptorship. It has been hard but I am glad I did it!

I wonder why they chose such a tough question? The school told me that they only have so many spots to fill and have a whole lot of applicants, which may be why. Besides this one proctored question there are 5 more essay questions that I have to do. I hope I get in!

Do you think it would be a good idea to add in the reply to this question something along the lines of, "I look forward to learning more about this subject in the nursing program"? Thanks, Carol

I am new here so hope I am in the right place to ask this question. I am applying for Nursing School and the question I need to answer is: As a nurse you will work with people from various cultures, ethnicities, and lifestyles. Explain the approach you will use as you begin your assessment of the patient and how you might evaluate the outcome of your nursing interventions. Any advice would be appreciated! :bowingpur It is hard to get into this program so I want to get as much information as possible to do a great job at answering this question.
