  1. Thanks ALIinSD, I also had questions about the class schedules, thanks for sharing! I'm getting ready to send my application in before the August 20th deadline, how long roughly do they contact you to come in and take the teas and proctor essay? Just wondering because, I need to buy the teas study guide and start studying.
  2. I am one class away with my prereqs being completed at National University, when I am done I would like to apply to atleast 2 different schools. One of which is CSU San Marcos. Has anyone who has attend National University in San Diego ever had problems transfering their prereqs to CSUSM for applying to the generic bsn program? If so, do thet require you to repeat any classes. Thank You.
  3. My advisor said that I'm good because I applied for the class in August 2009, right before the cut-off. Thanks for the replies.
  4. This maybe a weird question, but hopefully somebody has an answer. When I had my classes transfered from George Washington University, my A&P 1, Micro, and Chem all transfered with a "S" (which means satisfactory grade). So my question to this is, when I apply to the Nursing program, how would they calculate my science GPA, would having a "S" hurt my GPA and/or do they except such a grade? Other than that, I am well on my way, I only have MTH 210 (taking now) and A&P 2 left then I can apply. And congrats to the ones that made it into the Nursing program.
  5. tracelc- the best way to find out if they are doing this program at your hospital is to contact the nursing education office. i found out that my va is still doing it, but it varies from hospital to hospital because of budget issues. best of luck.
  6. I have a quick question, I currently only have 3 more prereqs left, the problem is that my last prereq will be completed on August 27th but the deadline to apply for the April 2011 cohort is on August 20th. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Will they let me submit my application 7 days late, after all it is my last class. By the way congrats to everyone that made it into the program, I'm hoping to get some of the luck that people are claiming from posting to this discussion board. Thanks again.
  7. Thank you NESHIA for the information. I will probably do the A/P since it has been awhile (HM school in 2000). Will probably do the new GI Bill. Your right about making out with more with the BAH. Thanks again.
  8. I went to NU on friday and talked to Admissions. I asked them if they will accept my A/P from my smart transcript as being an Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. They couldn't give me a direct answer if they do. Has any Hospital Corpsman had there A/P credits count? Also I was wondering which G.I. Bill would work better to attend NU. The Chapter 30 Montgomery Bill or the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill?
