    Columbia also has an accelerated nursing program, but I imagine it's even more than NYU

    If anyone has any insight to this, please let me know. I don't like to be so materialistic, but if I'm looking at $100K+ in loans vs a state school, I'd like to know, especially in this economy. The more people I talk to, the more I hear the school doesn't really matter. Any thoughts?

    Help! I have a bachelor's in Biology so have all of the pre-reqs required for SUNY downstate, but their website says they don't accept any science credits more than 7 years old. does anyone know if this is a hard and fast rule?

    Are any of you planning to do the combined BSN/MSN in nurse midwifery at these schools (SUNY Downstate, Columbia or NYU)? I'm currently weighing my options there and am wondering what people have heard about these particular programs.
