Thank you very much for your input. Do you think that is a ball park figure for where ever you may work in that area? My inlaws are convinced I can make so much more money down there in relation to working in Pennsylvania. I am making around $4 less /hour up here but the cost of living between Pennsylvania and Maryland is crazy! Thanks again for all your help!

I am recently am recently a new grad (Dec 2009) and have worked in a trauma hospital in Pennsylvania. My wife is originally from the Baltimore area and talks about moving back that way. Just curious on what a new grad RN may make at the Trauma Center in Baltimore or even in any of the surrounding areas? Thanks in advance for any info!

I am soon to be a RN (graduate in Dec of 09). And my family and I currently live in northwest PA. I constantly get pressure from my wifes family to take a job around her hometown just outside of Baltimore, MD. Just curious if anyone had thoughts on the pay differences of new graduates in the two areas...and if it came close to off setting the cost of living of the two areas....Thanks in advance!
