Hey guys, My name is Steve and I have just graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I have decided that I wish to purse a career in nursing. I am looking into Accelerated BSN and Second Degree BSN programs, however I am concerned that my GPA may be too low. I am a male with a 2.62 GPA, however I was on the wrestling team at Maryland so a bunch of my time was tied up in athletics with traveling and practices. I also have some clinical experience as I was a nurse's aide for two summers in the Emergency Department, and I was a surgical intern in the Operating Room for another summer. What are my chances of being accepted to one of these programs, or any other options, or advice anyone has. I am extremely confused and stressed out about what to do next so all help would be greatly appreciated!
