  1. I am wondering if anyone who works at Orlando Health currently knows anything about how I go about obtaining a job in surgery without any prior experience in the OR. I have med/surg, trauma PCU, and ER. I have looked at job openings and a requirement is ONE year of past OR experience. It currently work for Florida Hospital and hate it plus if i take their training program I have to sign a 2 year contract or pay out $13,000!!! REALLY? any help would be greatly appreciated. Lor
  2. hmmm really? even with bonuses and housing/food ect? $50K
  3. everyone is talking about t he $ give me a typical paycheck...right now i take home $1300/ biweekly! how does this compare.
  4. Everyone is discussing pay? Put it into perspective...I get payed now $1300/pay check every 2 weeks. After taxes and health insurance...take home!!!
  5. The gathering of docs, references, and MEPS. Is dependent on how fast people can get you the references and you gathering your docs. 2 weeks or so is a good time frame. MEPS/Physical you just schedule with your recruiter another week or so. what is the checklist of items needed? I am going to do Army nursing...just need to know what items i need to supply to them. Lori
  6. I am looking for the checklist of items needed. the recruiters give an application packet out right? I just want to know what is in it? I also have another question...how long does the entire process take from recruiter to base station? Any info would be wonderful.
