  1. I'm in the ELM program right now, & it's definitely do-able! It's hard work that's for sure. It's definitely challenging and you WILL be busy, and you WILL be tired. Time management & prioritization is key. But it's possible! If you're determined to make it work, it will .. & you'll have fun along the way.
  2. Hi everyone! For those of you who are already in the ELM program/will start the ELM program this summer, what is the best option for purchasing books? I am tempted to just buy the bundle that the school offers us, but if there are any cheaper options that anyone has come across, I'd love to know about it! Also, if anyone is selling their old/used textbooks for cheap that'd be great too! Thanks everyone!

  6. Did anyone accepted to the SD Summer 2011 cohort receive any info about orientation? I was told we'd get something this week, but I haven't gotten anything. Also, what is everyone doing about financial aid? I just submit my FAFSA last week and I was wondering if it'll cover all/most of tuition.
  7. Thanks Kurlaub! Do you mind if I ask how much tuition is? Since they merged the EENAP and SCAN program, I feel like they might have changed tuition prices? On the ELM website it says that tuition is now $58,315 or $545/unit. That seems a lot more than I originally saw on the website when I applied last May and its hard to imagine that it has increased that much.
  8. Anyone here currently in the ELM/EENAP program? While waiting until I start the program, I've been looking into various ways to help cover tuition. Can anyone share their situation w/ financial aid & tuition? I want to make productive use of my time (saving & applying for scholarships & doing whatever it takes!!) until I have to start the program. I would love any tips/strategies that you might want to share! =)

  12. Hi everyone, In regards to the waiting list, did anyone ask about what their standing is? I am eager to ask, however, I don't know if that's a legitimate question to ask (I'm sure they have more important things to worry about). I was accepted for Spring 2012 but am waitlisted for Fall 2011 (and I'm really really hoping for Fall 2011!) Also, what is this about the research course being offered at APU? I didn't receive any notification about this and I would love to learn more about it. This thread is very helpful, so thank you all for sharing the info! PS. I'm just going to throw out another question: Tuition! Financial aid? Scholarships? How are we all financially preparing for the program? I'm already anticipating loans, but I'm trying my best to save/gather funds now before the programs begins. Yay! All logistics aside, I'm super excited to start this journey!
  13. Hey Mia! You can't take it at a community college? Weird! Anyway, I also emailed them and I'll let you know what they say.
  14. Hi! I've been searching local community colleges for the Intro to Research to Methodology course & I can't seem to find one. Anyone else have any luck?
  15. I also got accepted for Fall 2010, but I am declining their offer so those of you still waiting may still have a chance! I've decided to attend Azusa Pacific University's EENAP program in San Diego instead. Good luck to everyone!
