If I were you I would contact my state board of nursing for that information. Ever hear of CE Broker.com? Its a great way to track your CE's and they update you on a regular basis on what you need to renew. It also states each states requirements for licensure and recerts. Hey any idea how to close out these threads??? I have an old one from 2003 I want to close. Can you help?

Thank you all for the helpful information. The reason for my resignation was completely unrelated to this incident. It just so happened that I found out about the case around the same time the resignation was submitted. Talk about "bad timing". I just needed some info on the malpractice details.

Hi Everyone I just started recently with an anesthesia group in FL as a CRNA. Unfortunately there was a minor incident with one of my cases and the patient is seeking compensation. In the meantime I have recently submitted my resignation to this group and will be working for a different group in this state. Do I need to get TAIL coverage in case this case decided to haunt me within the next 2 yrs ??? My understanding is that cases can be pursued up to 2 yrs after the incident occurs. I just want to cover my butt. Does anyone have any suggestions re coverage?

sorry to hear that you got the rejection letter but the best advice is to closely look at the prerequists and strenghen them. It is a good idea to contact the program director thank them for the experience of going thru the interview process and ask what you can do to make you a stronger candiate the next time around. Once advice is given, make sure you do what they suggested. It shows your dedication to persueing your dreams despite being rejected. And your not afraid of hard work.
