YAYYYYY I GOT INNNNNNNNN!!!!!! I'm so happy now! Ha...my manager let me leave work early to check my mail and I was so0o0o nervous to open it but so relieved now

I went over to the mail after work and I didnt get the letter yet arggggg another long day of waiting!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on those getting in...i think Im going to have an anxiety attack waiting lol

My friend got hers and unfortunately she didn't get in Eeeek but I'm pretty sure my mail doesn't come until around 4 and I have to work at 4 argggg. It comes to my moms also which is a drive from where I live

I called someone just now and she said they sent out acceptance letters today!!! AHHHHHH! Im so nervous now. Does anyone know how fast mail travels in the city??

Calinative what do u mean by trying to resolve some errors already? I heard that they have miscalculated points be for also but i havent worried about it yet because my main concern is trying to get into the HSC :/. Has anyone heard anything yet? I recently moved back out of my moms house with a work friend so now my mom still gets all my mail and Im not sure how often she checks the mail eeeeeek. Getting anxious.

I applied to SAC where I took my prereqs as a backup... wanting to stay in SA.

Finished also! Ha I found it difficult to revise everything to under 600 characters (including spaces!) and being able to say everything I wanted to say in order to fully answer the question while using specific exampls and evidence! Phew. Glad that's over lol....now the TEAS yayyyyyyyyyyyyy. If any has takin it let us know how it compares to the practice ones and if there is a calculator on the computer you can use or if that's just a myth haha.

Lol yes writing and rewriting.... I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to things like this....

Hey futurern i sent both emails also and they didnt reply back confirming if my test date is good or not soo I assume it is...lol Alex- this is a public site so idk I was just making sure hah :) Thnx aznplayr! My friend that goes there said u can't bring a calculator but that she remembered being able to use one on the computer since it was a computerized test? Im going to study without a calculator just to be on the safe side tho! Thnx for the advice :)

Awesome thanks for sharing! :) I would love an opportunity for a mock interview...was this provided at UTSA or UTHSCSA? How can i get more info about setting up a mock interview? P.s. anyone recieve an interview letter yet or hear anything else?

Hmmm that just doesn't add up! She mustve not been eligible or something else going on because I don't see why she would not have even got an interview... In my chem 2 class right now there are 3 people who are to attend UTHSCSA this fall. I talked to two and they both had around a 3.5 GPA and in the 80s for the TEAS test so i think we should have a pretty good chance I received my evaluation letter almost a month ago. I noticed on my online application I made a typo error and was really upset about that!! (I looked over it twice before I sent it!) So I really hope that won't hurt my chances for an interview but as for right now I'm just trying not to think about it because otherwise it will just make the wait longer lol.

Oh yea i briefly looked at that website a while ago... hopefully the real one is not too much harder. I've been taking all of my classes at SAC what about you? They recently built a new nursing building it looks really nice but too bad it's just a 2yr college =/. Hmm was he wearing a quilt skirt thingy? Some of my managers wear those from time to time lol... Yea I'm not old enough yet either I just work there for about 2 years now. I like it there but i cant wait to start a real career

Cool those are some interesting classes.. looks like youll be having one fun packed semester! I have micro& nutrition for summer 1. hist 2 &chem 2 for summer 2 anddd hopefully theyll let me take sociology in summer 2 also so i can be off in the fall and just save up for nursing school Hmmm well I'm sure this spring board will pick up. It's pretty early in the process right now but I'm glad i have a place to vent/calm my nerves hehe hopefully this will be a fun journey for us all :]

I have and it seems pretty helpful but I'm so0o0 busy w/ summer classes n work that I can't find spare time to review...micro is kicking my butt right now what prereqs(if any) do yall have left??

Oh ok well i'm mainly anxious right now about being offered an interview and to take the TEAS test so i hope my gpa is good enough to get me there! hehe. I'm also taking as many summer classes as i can to finish the rest of my prereqs so that they can see those grades too!! thanks for your advice hopefully ill get to meet you in the fall :)

Okay so im applying to uthscsa for the spring and was wondering if anyone knows what gpa they look at and any other helpful ideas to get an interview etc. my prereq gpa is 3.74 but my overall gpa is a 3.44...is that going to hurt my chances? i went in for a transcript review and debbie calculated the wrong gpa for me and i didnt notice until i got home. i hope they dont mess up with my application. eeeek im so nervous i wanna do everything possible to get in!! the only other place im applying to is sac but i much rather get my bachelor degree then an associates....
