leila, my first long term care clinical rotation for nursing school was at dallas retirement last fall. i didn’t participate in the cna program, but those that went through their course seemed very knowledgeable. they seem to hire many of their own grads as well. hope this helps. good luck!

I have a few questions that I would love to have answered... Do we really use all of the books on the book list? Did you take the two elective courses offered (Strategies for Success and Skill Applications)? If so did you find them helpful? Thanks for your help.

Jenniedennise- Do you have any idea what fall term will be like? How many days a week will we be in school? I can't believe that we have to wait until the week before to find out the details, it makes planning impossible. At the CPR class this week, there were several 2nd year students, but I didn't get a chance to get detailed info about 1st year. Claudrian- I also think you have a good chance being alternate #6.

i guess i misunderstood what they meant when they said we would be able to access our scores. the wait is killing me!

The faculty at the interview told us we would hear back by May 22. Was anyone else told the same information?
