you have to wait until people drop from the accepted list. if you're on the waitlist, i'll assume you'll have to wait until the day school starts for your chances..

the "predicting of outcomes" killed me on the net. i updated my app with two letters from local hospital (150 hrs of volunteer) and completed previous degree. we'll see what happens. i'm thinking of taking the TEAS to up my score.

Update for me: i did get the "welcome to reapply.." letter, so i'm hoping for San Mateo, and I did hear that it is less competitive. GPA: 60 unit; 3.50 Prereqs; 4.0 NET: 87% composite (100 math, 73 reading), 96% percentile. science 67% (ouch!)). ...

i'll post when i hear more on tues.. in the mean time, try to have a fabulous 4th of July..!

Could be another cohort. I just spoke to the admin person, she said to call back Tues morning to find out about the wait list. Also my email from them said that i passed the first hurdle (200 apps to 140) for 48 seats. I'm going to find out what...

Just spoke to admin. It appears that the 48 seats have been notified by phone, so if you didn't get called today you're not one of the golden 48. HOWEVER, the wait-list hasn't been created yet.. There's still hope..

Has the wait-list been called yet? Have all the accepted calls been made? Anyone receive a call today? ARRRG!

PS - I was thinking of getting my CNA during the summer break before school starts for the experience and exposure. No official direct patient contact experience at this point. any comments..?
