Yes, I suppose you're right. I need to talk about it with my significant other but I'm fairly certain I'm going to give it a try, at the very least. I really want to, after all. Having to deal with things I don't like to do something I want to do should be a lot better for me than doing something I just don't care for.

Thanks again for the input, everyone. :) I've been thinking about it a lot and the only problem I'm having with considering this job is the messier work I'd be doing. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to help take care of people, even if it means doing the 'dirty work'. But I don't know if my stomach can handle it. I've never worked with things like that before so I really don't know. Do you think I should go for it anyway and hope I won't have too much of a problem with it?

Yep, same thing I've heard elsewhere. Meaningful work, physically demanding, and low pay. Money shouldn't be a problem for me for a few years so I won't have a problem with low pay. And seeing as how I'd rather have less power in the workplace(strange, I know) and I can deal with physically demanding I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Thanks for the input.

So, I've been considering becoming a nursing assistant. And I was wondering if anyone could give me any info about the job's pros and cons, and any other info about it. I think I have the basic idea of the job but I can't be sure so I decided to ask a nursing forum.
