  1. I only will have to take maybe 4 or 5 courses: a&p 1 and 2, micro, nutrition and maybe the 2nd part of english comp-- my college only required 1 part for english comp. I am hoping to start with some courses this fall and then apply for nursing in October. Also, I am hearing all different stories with people who already have a BA, do I have to take the AHT or no? I read on the website that I may be exempt from taking it. But, then where would the other 3 points come from or would they be guaranteed?
  2. I am thinking about applying to the nursing program to begin in September of 2010. This hole point system is making me nervous! I already have a BS and graduated with a GPA of 3.1 and I have no F's or W's, so based on this system I heard about I should already have 5 points. Is the Allied Health Test hard or it is something I shouldn't be worried about? And would an 8 be good enough to get in?
  3. I am considering going to CCP for their nursing program. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. I know that I will not be able to begin the nursing program until September of 2010, but I would have to take about 6 courses before then to have all the required courses completed. I was wondering if there are any CCP current or past students that could tell me if I even have a chance with getting into the school. I graduated high school with a GPA of 3.8 and took 4 years of science and math. In college I finished with a 3.1 GPA. I know I have to take this Allied Health Test. But, would I be wasting my time or would it be beneficial to me to apply?
