Congrats i finished last week i statred today sanders and kaplant

i do not remeber lol

30 minutes for section if u do not finish at the end of those 30 min, they move u to the next section , but if u finish before 30 min, they move u to the next section and u loose those min. but u get other 30 min, for the new section. i know it is confuse but just try to finish every section every 30 min, lol

i just passed the last ATI med surg. YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I am so happy i cannot beleve it , it's been a tough year with ups and downs. . last day of class; we are going to have just a NCLEX review next week and that is all. Oneida was crying we got so emocional she gave us a pray and candies. I am going to start the sanders the 15 of december, and other book i did not take the ati LIVE NCLEX. you have to take it and pay pay 350 extra. the thing is Iam broke and it was not included ,but some people are taking it. then live review with elionor something... lol, they said is the best becasue the revie is base in other students for exemple: 40 people took the test and send to leonor .... 6 question so they add those questions in the review, so it is king if chetting but not really lol. and then bebruary 30th Iam gonna take it. I do not want to wait a lot it is not recomemd it.

ok, OMG!!!! You can be an LPN and do the one year RN program except in the first semester you take two classes not three, but you have to do your preq. like anatomy and phy etc. also one year for none experience people, with the prereq. and I am not sure about ethics or algebra i think u are accept it but u have to pass with B's and A's

yes, I know it is a lot jobs in south florida, it is just they put it in all the advertice they make. BTW nobody realizes if you edite your post only you ;);););););)

merlyn i am gonna finish in december and i have not ttaken my boards yet and it is plenty of jobs in Miami. what is sad it is a University of Miami one of the most profitalbe ornanizations in Miami are so harsh in new graduates and paying the training for it. More when their program is a peace of $%^& and they almost close its school of nursing. but what it comes around goes around

been there done that they just DO NOT accept new graduates period. the commuter you are right they do not have any obligation because is a business. I do not agree that programs do not give the student enough nurse clinical hours I have 700 and counting. but do not worry when the baby bummers get 65 in a few years and the old nurses 70% of nurse population give up they will be desperate for new nurses we are going to see new graduates and extra bonuses!!! And when the economy gets back the greediest are going to pay a lot for training. BTW it is not a lot of money to train a new nurse who is going to care of a human being. I know is business but how sad they are treating people not as humans but as a raw piece of meat :( very sadddddddd

i am finishing in december 2011 my as nursing and i was looking for jobs on indeed.com and kept my attention that any job in um university of miami was reluctant for new graduates.:mad::mad::mad: first they have the nursing program that was almost close due to the fact that a few students were passing the board in 2008 oops!!! yes the very same one. any post they put in the net is just against new students. it is a shame that so many new good nurses have to pass for this kind of discrimination because they do not want to spend a few bucks for training. they even bold the adds as not new graduates ma be they do not even trust they own graduates i am so mad that i put so much effort to be a great nurse and then this people just discourage just at the end of your studies post and let me hear your voices.

now you are talking. yes you are accept it but with the conditions you have to pass ur preq. with A's or B's until then you are not going to have ur orientation when u pass everything and you are in the last year it is when you real nursing program starts. get A's and B's and you will be fine. good luck!!! they need nurses in this world.

You have to remember being able to do your prereq. Does not automatically enroll you into the nursing program and makes sense because if you get a C or an F you have to repeat or never be available to be into the real nursing program when you finish your prereq. You then have an interview and then when you get enroll; you have ur orientation. raquel6687 does not make sense to have an orientation for clinicals and the cost of everything and how the nursing program works if you have not finish your prereq. First. It is like buying a car without a driven license does not make sense don’t you thinks?
