  1. Omg exact same thing as me, I also failed the test in 2011 and since then I have been doing pre-reqs at a tech college. I suck at math horribly and gave up on trying to test again.
  2. I'am facing this same exact situation at this moment, and was told by my lawyer really only option I have is to wait until terms are completed (community service, probation, whatever you may have) and try to get the arrest expunged. Even though you don't have felony conviction. You have a felony arrest on your record and that's what holding me back.
  3. Yes iam just about to start my pre-reqs i have been considering this for a long time i have 3 young children. the whole process is intimidating but I'm very hopeful.
  4. I went to bauder info session this past tuesday, ms.lanier stated the adn was full for november and didnt dknow when another begins. Which is kinda stupid because why am i applying if you dont know when another opens up. Anyhow i was interested in lpn so no biggie. She stated there were a few spots left for lpnaugust. I took the wonderlic got a 23 it was pretty easy, math i suck at hands down so i was betting on my reading only. I go in, this morning to take kaplan test...never heard of that test and since she offered me to test for it so soon, im assuming its doesnt require much studying. You have to get 50% of the math right and 50% reading. Then i assume i take interviews,....
  5. omg...i just was doing a google search on rn/lpn atlanta, which i do every few months just to see if a new class/school is up. because i know everest has lpn now in another state i was thinking it would come here, then i found bauder...and i was shocked i called right away today but its sunday so of course.....but first thing im calling monday, im only for lpn or rn whichever has the opening.
  6. yes i plan to bridge to rn from lpn, to be honest its the poop changing etc. that freaks me out. im scared i wont be able to take that day in and day out. i know that healthcare is my field. plus i need to attain a position asap, while in school. and i know with phlebotomy i wont be dealing with that, and possibly not as tired while im also studying school
  7. i guess cna, i would hate to have to do ltc i hear some horrible stories
  8. Hello hello to all! im 2nd thinkinng my cna course and thinking of taking phlebotomy, which is best pay? and would be easier to attain a position in? also im going to be completing some pre-reqs and applying to lpn while working. 10. hello all! im currently in cna training, and im so worried about getting a position where i have to deal with changing the patient etc. i know thats what being a CNA involves but i have 6month twins and 2yo I CHANGE BUTTS FULL TIME AT HOME HONESTY I THINK I WOULD DIE IF I HAD TO GO TO WORK AND DO IT ALL DAY RIGHT NOW. i was thinking is that what every position involves? should i have waited until maybe i could deal with this,...im currently waiting todo pre-req for lpn and wanted to get a position while im presuming that also. should i go into maybe phlebotomy until my lpn??
