Rollerman, Did you get in this time? I am curious because this was my fourth time and I was not selected. Im hoping that the chances will be good on my fifth try, in the so called "special lottery" for those who have waited over two years.

Good Luck! I have heard that the alternates usually get in. I have a friend who got in last semester, and she said like 5 people didn't show up to orientation, and they got dropped right away. So if you are an alternate that dosen't get picked, you're guaranteed a spot the next semester??

Hi Nole, I was just curious to know if ended up getting accepted? Im getting ready to be in my 4th and 5th lotteries next year, and kind of had the impression I would at least get in on my 5th try, but after hearing your story I am kind of scared.

Did anyone here get a letter saying they were on the waiting list?

Thanks Biol20, and congratulations on almost being done! Do you know if it is true that after you have been unselected 4 times(2 years) you get put into a "smaller pool"? I have heard this and thought you might know since you had to wait 5 times before getting selected.

Scuba, Dont give up hope yet. There is a good chance you still got in if you didn't recieve a rejection letter this week. I was in the office personally on Tuesday and she told me not all the acceptance letter had been sent out. Thanks for the info on COS, I am going to look into that. I am trying to stay in Fresno, but am figuring out that may not work. I have been in the Fresno City lottery for some time now, so I am hoping my wait is just about over. The average wait is two years, and I have been waiting 1 1/2. Good Luck with Fresno State, I think you still have a chance!!

Hi Everyone, Just thought I would post and share that yesterday I received my letter letting me know I was not admitted. Very disappointing, but good to know one way or the other. Lizzy: are you from the fresno area? Do you plan to apply to any other programs now? I am in the Fresno City Lottery, have been for a year and a half. Trying to figure out what my next steps are. Scuba: Were you able to find out anything yet?

Hi, I have a question for those of you who have been accepted. Have you been informed on the price of tuition, and when its due? Also have you been informed about books and supplies you will need to purchase? I haven't been accepted nor rejected yet, but I'm trying to estimate cost so I can be prepared if I am accepted. Thanks!

scuba: i called last wednesday, and didn't get much of an answer out of anyone. after still not hearing anything today i decided to go into the nursing department, since i currently attend fresno state. i asked if there was anyone i could speak to regarding my elm application. i was told that actually no there wasn't. dr.russler was out of town, and carol was home sick. i asked the secretary if all acceptance letters went out. she told me no. some acceptance letters have gone out, and some rejection letters have gone out. i'll take that as good news since i haven't received either. she said letters are going out in "waves". so this is good news!
