UTEP, A&M CC, TT which one for FNP?
I actually know of someone who had nothing but great things to say about the program at Corpus. I have emailed her to get more info. I like the fact that all of it is online except for the two visits. They have also been very responsive to all of my questions. I asked what there certification pass rate was and they told me like 97%. I'm not really sure how I can look that up for myself though. The cost is really reasonable as well and all of their syllabi are online for viewing. Right now I am leaning towards Corpus. Tyler has quite a bit of actual visits compared to corpus and the end of the program involves 360 clinical hours over a summer semester which I don't think will be possible for me and Alabama is slightly more expensive and I don't like the idea of leaving the state of Texas for school if I don't have to.

Have you decided where to go yet? I was accepted at Corpus Christi, USA, and UT Tyler. I am leaning towards corpus.

Thinking of switching FNP Programs
I am currently through my first semester of FNP school and am getting ready to begin my second. The school that I attend is wonderful and everyone has been very supportive and helpful and has a desire to help students succeed. The problem that I am concerned about is that as I progress through the program more of it will be in class learning than online. I am a great online learner and it allows more time to be at home with my family even if I am extremely busy while I am there. The school is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from my home so it is not really conviently located for me. Can anyone out there suggest any online programs that will be willing to accept transfer students? I am particularly interested in Texas Tech, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, The University of Alabama, and Graceland University. Does anyone have an experience with these schools? I don't mind traveling a few times throughout the program. Any advice anyone has is greatly appreciated!
