  1. fyi for all...so far out of my lpn class, 6 students have taken the nclex and passed. all of them did the pearsonvue trick and they all received the contact member board message. they did the pearsonvue trick as soon as they got home from taking the exam. one thing i did notice, wait until you see "delivery successful" under the status area of your pearsonvue account page. if you do not see "delivery successful" you may get a pop up message that states that you have an open registration and you cannot register at this time. i think that "delivery successful" means that pearsonvue actually received your test results. i did not even need to pay pearsonvue the $7.95 quick results fee because my license was already posted on the fl bon website. the same held true for all of my other classmates!!!!
  2. hey elnkb.....haven't heard from you at all today???????????????? hope all is well.:yelclap:
  3. well thank you very much javaline. i am very happy to hear that you passed. i am sure there are a bunch of nurses to be out there that feel the same way. you just have to believe in what you have learned, think things through, and most of all believe in yourself. congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dncgbby::rcgtku:
  4. i passed!! i didn't pay the $7.95 for quick results. my license was already posted on the bon website!!! i start work on monday!!!!! how are you holding up??? keep checking your bon website. i took the test on monday (27th) and my license was issued on the 28th. keeping my fingers crossed for you. :dncgcpd::clphnds::dancgrp::hpygrp::prdnrs: i am officially a nurse....holy crap!!!!
  5. i did the pearsonvue trick right after my test and it told me to contact your member board...etc. i have been looking on pearsonvue website for the go ahead to pay the $7.95 to get my quick results, but it is still showing no exam results available at this time. i went to the florida bon website, did a license verification search and there it was......i have my license............i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the trick works. (fl nclex-pn)
  6. i don't think you will ever feel like you know enough. there is just no way to know everything about everything. i believe the pass rate percentage goes up the more times you take it because you are studing more and more for it. you will pass. believe in yourself and trust in what you know. (i should have listened to my own advice right b4 my test, but like you, i was a hot mess!
  7. gee, can you email me all of your wonderful notes? hehe sounds like something good to have as i go on for my bsn. i am sure i will come up with many more wonderful study aids. i know one thing...i studied all the lab values (major ones) and they asked me some off the wall lab values (the ones i didn't study). i have to say, the nclex definetely keeps people on their toes.
  8. that is pretty cool. i had a pda with a few nursing programs on it. i let the main battery die (accidently of course) and i lost everything!!! stupid me, i never saved the actual programs to my desktop computer and now the company wants me to purchase them all over again. i never studied any kaplan. i only used saunders 3rd edition and the cd. you will be just fine, i will keep my fingers crossed for you as well. good luck.
  9. :yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah: i think that's a good sign. i can get my quick results tomorrow as well, i am in florida. i didn't have any put in order questions or drug calculation questions! i did get a lot of sata though. lets keep our fingers crossed. i will keep you posted the minute i find out. way to go!
  10. how did you do elnkb???? i am sure you did great! anxiety is still pretty high i bet. r u gonna do the pearsonvue trick?
  11. i had like 12 sata questions and a whole bunch of meds. not one question on insulin, musculoskeletal, gi, neuro, peds...nothing. you just can't study for this. you need to base everything on what you have learned in school. you will be fine. i didn't even study last night. i had 3 beers and then went to sleep. i played really loud music all the way to the test site and prayed! you can do it! here is a big hug. :icon_hug:
  12. i am probably one of the most impatient people in this world when it comes to things like this. my nclex-pn was today, at 0800 and i was done by 0945. (85 questions) i tried the pearsonvue trick at 1220 and got the whole "candidate currently has an open registration..." i just tried it again, (impatient me) and now it states "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." [color=#483d8b]i hope this is a good sign!!!!!!!! :bowingpur [color=#483d8b] :anbd:[color=#483d8b] waiting, waiting and waiting.... [color=#483d8b] [color=#483d8b]**took the test in florida

[color=#483d8b]i hope this is a good sign. i am going to post this to the pearsonvue "trick" thread too! how are you holding up??
  14. it was aweful. i felt like i knew nothing. everyone was right. there really is no way to study for this. the computer cut me off at 85 questions (pn). i just did the pearson vue trick and it states that "the candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. a new registration cannot be created at this time." i wonder if that means i passed or if it is way to soon to determine. i just took the exam this morning.
  15. i only use the saunders cd for the exams. it all depends. on the 100 question exams, i usually receive 70's. on the 10 question quizzes, i have been receiving 80's and 90's depending on the category. however, i did get a 50 today for a quiz on child health (scary huh??) i am so nervous, i can't focus and concentrate, and i have been an absolute _____ to my family today.
  16. :barf01:yes, i feel like vomiting. i take my test in the morning. i have been trying to relax a little but find myself getting up and opening my book to review more stuff. how will i even be able to sleep tonight? last night i woke up about 17 times and each time i awoke, i was thinking of some type of disease sign/symptom or lab value. they are all running together and i don't want to draw a complete blank tomorrow morning!
  17. thanks so much. i have been studying the fluids/electrolytes and i keep getting them confused!! i will concentrate on lab values tomorrow and then i am just going to relax the rest of the day. my exam is on monday! but right now, i am wondering if i should postpone it?????????
  18. one more thing, i am getting so confused on signs and symptoms of hyper/hypokalemia, hyper/hypocalcemia, hyper/hyponatremia, etc. anybody know of an easier way to remember that stuff?:sstrs:
  19. i keep reading a lot of the threads on this website and most of them state to study kaplan and saunders. my school included saunders 3rd edition (orange) with their books/courses, i just don't have the money for kaplan. i just hope that this saunders book and cd is going to be good enough. does anyone know if the nclex asks questions that go into detail about certain disease processes or is it just basic stuff? do i have to know off the wall lab values, like for ana (antinuclear antibody) titers? so much info, so little time!
  20. two days to go. i am going to read up on neuro and muskuloskeletal today. i only briefly reviewed any pediatric stuff, watch me get a whole bunch of peds questions! i decided not to even waste my time studying drugs. i mean i know cardiac drugs and digoxin toxicity, stuff like that, but that's about all. i just don't think there is any way to know all of the drugs and their side effects, isn't that what a drug book is for anyway? i just don't know what to study anymore. there is soooooooooooooo much. i originally had my test scheduled for may 4th, but i figured it's now or never....the more i study, the more i realize how much i still don't know!!!!
  21. Boy, oh boy! I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-PN this Monday (27th). I have been reading and doing the practice exams on the Saunders CD. I graduated top of my class but feel like I do not know diddly squat right now. Everything seems to be running together. Gee, what drug has a side effect of nausea and vomiting....they almost ALL do. It's very hard to keep all of the signs and symptoms of these disorders in my brain. Anyway, I am panicking and doubting myself. I almost feel like not studying anymore and just taking the test. Either I know it or I don't. Any advice out there?
