I don't know how to private message either.

I have a facebook account and am asking about contacts there. I remember the students told us that we will also be assigned a mentor. I'm hoping we will be given that person's name before class starts, maybe even in the packets.

I think current students would be the best resource. Hopefully we will be able to contact current students before the program starts.

Does anyone know anything about apartments in Jackson, TN? I'm getting mixed reviews online. Thanks!

Hi wildflower, No, I haven't taken any graduate level classes yet. I'm taking an organic/biochem class right now as a review. I'm also planning on buying some used anesthesia textbooks and planning to look over material over the next several months. My sister is in CRNA school right now and told me she wished she had done that before she started. I think Union will be a good program and I felt comfortable there during the interview. The students who were there that day had a lot of good things to say and that is always a good sign I think. I wonder how many will be in our class? Let me know if you want to keep in touch outside of allnurses.com.

The interview wasn' t too bad. I didn't really know what to expect ahead of time. The students I talked to before the interview said that there were 70 applicants being interviewed last week. They really liked the program and I left feeling that it would be a great place to go to school. I guess we'll find out next week if we get in or not! :)

My interview is on Tuesday, May 19. It should be interesting. Good luck all!

Got my letter today...going for an interview in May! Hope you all get good news too!

I know...can't wait for the letter. I haven't heard anything yet. I thought that someone contacted the Dean who said letters may not go out until the end of April...that gives them another week yet.

I also applied to Union University this year for Jan. 2010. I'll be sitting on pins and needles waiting for the letter. Good luck to everyone who applied!
