Thanks. However, I am not able to recall... what does DON stand for? I heard the term "DON" used many times in STNA classes but that was a year ago. I'm having trouble recalling.

I'm planning on cold calling some Nursing homes to gain an interview. Therefore, I need to know who to ask for when I call. Can someone tell me who is responsible for interviewing STNA's/CNA's (Nurse Aides)?

I apologize, I should have mention that STNA stands for State Tested Nurse Aide, it's the same as a CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant. It just that in Ohio you have to be State Tested instead of certified which is still the same.

What qualities are most desired in a STNA? and.... When an STNA is interviewed for a job, who usually gives the interview?
