Hi Kelly! LBCC usually does their application for Spring during June-August, and Fall during January-March. One requirement that they just started last year is taking somekind of computer processing class. It's a graduation requirement, and the RN dept decided that they wanted that to be a prereq along with the Eng 100, Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy, and Eng 100. The comp class I took at LBCC was CPAS 10. It's a really easy class, strictly online for like 4 weeks I think. I didn't take my prereqs at LBCC, I took mine at GWC. I got 2 A's, a B, and a C in my prereqs. I got an alternate spot on my first try, BUT they didn't take any alternates last semester, which is why I am starting this Fall 09. Some advice that I can give....I spoke to a counselor at LBCC when I turrned in my app (they need to look at your classes from other schools to see if they accept them before u can turn in your app) and she told me that their RN program usually accepted students that had most of their GE's done first. They like to know that their RN students will just be focusing on their nursing classes. So my suggestion, get most or all of your GE's done, then get that comp class done before you apply. ALSO, they require you to take a reading assesment test so make sure you schedule one of those too and have that done before u apply as well. Good luck to u and if u have any other questions I'll be glad to help! Gina
