  1. Scaredso much: You need to take a step back and relax. I am a mother of 2, divorced- trust we all know! (We got your back, if you want to vent: use us as a sounding board) but; when your baby's down & a sleep open your books, worry about cleaning do that later after you pass. Trust me, I am scared as hell: but; this is not just for me but- for my family... Don't keep studying the material that you already know: review the your weakest area's. Study Prioritization, Delegation good book by Linda Lacharity- helped me, then also use Saunders, review your labs - and keep doing questions.
  2. Not a problem, if I can help- just drop me a message ("do unto others as you would want them to do to you!") My problem with the NCLEX is the fear of the unknown: it's just so much information and so little time. I don't want to leave any stone unturned. That's why I ask question regarding the test
  3. Okay! - I'm on it: all the feed back is excellent. I will start on infection control tonight.
  4. Will do, thanks. When it came to areas mentioned previously, would you add transfers and possible fractures...
  5. Thank you so much, that's what I was asking when I posted the question for tips for studying for the NCLEX. As I said, before: there is so much too study & if someone who has been there can help eliminate some of the stress it is appreciated. I will try it tonight and see how it helps. I am breaking it down as follows a. Prioritizing and Delagation b. Maslow & Erickson C. Legal Aspects D. Lab values C. Child New Born, stages of Labor D. Mental Health as yourself, I am not focusing on alot of meds:Cardiac Meds, Mental health meds, etc - certain meds are in my memory bank -but; I will make that my last area to focus on. I did not even think of infection control, but I will now.
  6. Thanks so much...I have been using saunders and hitting the rationale's like you mentioned. I focus on the validation of my information from saunders: because I wanted a variety of types questions I flop between Saunders and another just so that I keep on my toes. Thanks for explaining to me about Suzzane's review - I can respect it. People have to understand, when it's down to the wire and something this is important is within your reach (your nervous), your willing to go to the ends of the earth. l have seen so much study groups and various things for RN grads, but not enough for the LPN. So basically, we are just looking for a little bit of insite/help.
  7. Hello All: I am getting ready to sit for my exam on January 9, 2010. I have been studying Saunders along with my Flash cards scoring 60's -70's and focusing on the rational of the wrong one's. Any other suggestions....
  8. Thanks so much, are there any particular areas, that I should focusing my attention too. ex; med surg. I am not cramming by no means. Right now I am reviewing stage - area's of weakness's and hitting NCLEX questions.l
  9. Hello Everyone: I need your help. Does anyone have any suggestions Re:study material for the LPN- NCLEX. I read alot of suggested material but; most of it pertained to RN's. My school uses ATI - Testing for review, but; I would like to be prepared (overlly) if that's possible.
