  1. I just join allnurses.com because i wan't to find out on how can I become an OR Nurse. Currently I work on an Ambulatory Procedure Unit for 8 months now. When I was a student, my favorite part in my whole internship in nursing was the OR. It doesn't matter if we have a short case ranging from 30 mins-1hour or from doing a complex brain surgery for 8-10 hours. I love it. The thing is, how do I become an OR Nurse? Do I need to apply for a certain course for OR Nursing?
  2. linda 2097 is right. You're lucky that you're educator is considering you for a job that you love. Just take linda's advice. Buy the way, I work in the Ambulatory Procedure Unit and I was wondering. How do you get into an OR position? Do you have to enroll in a nursing program for that? Goodluck nurse2be09.
