I am trying to get into the ROP LVN program in Orange County. It seems like I am never going to get in. How did everyone else deal with the long wait without losing their minds?

I am about to start a CNA class. I am really worried about it. I'm scared about cleaning up bodily fluids and taking people to the bathroom. How can I get through the class without changing my mind about nursing? What has everyone else's experiences been with CNA classes? Thanks.

I will be done with my CNA classes in the summer and I was just wondering how hard it is for someone with no experience but has taken CNA classes to find a job. I am looking in the Orange County area. Will I be able to get a job at a hospital? I really want to work at a pediatric hospital. Would this be possible or do I have to start at a nursing home?

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the position of Clinical Associate at CHOC is like. Is it a fun job? What do you do? Thanks.

I am trying to get into the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program LVN program. I was just wondering if there is anyone here that went there. If so, how long did it take you to get in? I am scared that I am not going to get in. Thanks.

I have looked into Dominican too. It appears though that for the amount of money you have to spend to go there, you are better off going to University of San Francisco. The program is bigger there and I have heard that the program is better too. I went and visited Dominican. Their nursing building is a little house. I'm not sure that's a good sign. Also, San Francisco State University has a good program too. You might also want to look into St. Mary's. Its nursing program is connected with a very good Health sciences school called Samuel Merritt which is located in Oakland. Let me know how it goes.
