  1. http://www.csustan.edu/Nursing/documents/ApplicationScoring.pdf Here is the link with the points breakdown :)
  2. iwillbeanrnoneday- Thank you! Yes, with a 3.7 Gpa you have a very good chance of getting in the program! I had a 3.7 overall, 3.4 science, and 4.0 non science. My teas was 78 and I am bilingual however, I do not have any healthcare experience. As long as you keep up with your grades and get A's and B's (mostly A's) I think you will get in the program. Good luck!:)
  3. Really? What color did you get? My summer is going good, how about yours? I need to start studying my medical terminology! Have you gotten any of your immunizations or Cpr? I am looking into buying books and they are coming out to around $700
  4. Hi Tina! Did you get your stethoscope yet? I got a Littman Classic S.E. it is double sided.
  5. Congratulations! I think any medical terminology book will be fine but I am using the book Medical Terminology Systems: A Body Systems Approach. Are you planning on living in Turlock? If you would like to email me my email is [email protected] : ) I would love to meet up and chat :)
  6. Almost, I just need an F3 course and the multicultural requirement and thats it.
  7. Tina- I took medical terminology last summer, so I think Im just going to use that textbook, and yes I am a current student at Stanislaus, what upper div ge are you taking?
  8. My overall points were 91, and my gpa is 3.7 I also got alot of the additional points so It appears that as long as your in the 90s you will get in? Good luck, please post if you get in!
  9. Hi Tina, I got my acceptance letter too! We will be future classmates :)
  10. Oh, I see. Well from what I can remember from when I applied to Csu Stan for last fall, I dont recall having to pay a deposit but I do remember declaring my intent to enroll. They may have changed that from last year? The acceptance letters for the nursing program will not be sent out until mid May :/ You can try calling the nursing department, ------ the lady who answers the phone is very helpful :)
  11. @Noellenana Yes, I am currently a Csu stan student. What do you mean by the deposit for acceptance? Are you talking about the tuition fees?
  12. Mxmstiza- I am sure you will get in somewhere! I only applied to Stan so I am really hoping I get in! If u are bilingual and have good grades and have medical experience I am sure you will get in at stan. Are you from the valley?
  13. Hi! Yes it is due by Jan 31. What schools are you applying to?
  14. Is anyone planning to apply for the Nursing program at csu stanislaus?
