Hello, Just got my acceptance letter in SJSU's program a few days ago...I've been talking to some people in the program and they make it sound impossibly difficult. They say they never get sleep, constantly study, don't have social lives...and , um..that's kinda what it's like for me right now, and I'm not even in the program yet. I want to become a nurse anesthesiologist someday (which means I need the top grades, right?) I am so terrified. ..I already feel like I failed...oohh, I'm gonna be sick. Please, somebody, comfort me. :imbar

i guess EVC's my back up plan, but i really don't want to resort to that.

i've recently become a little more optimistic about getting in...i heard from a staff member that there are significantly less applicants this semester due to the new requirements ( higher gpa and teas, no more bach degrees, and less people being admitted into the school)...also, several of the applications received weren't even complete, so they were tossed immediately.

thanks for the info. i'm glad to know there's a lot of bac degrees in your class! what were your teas, gpas if you don't mind me asking?

Hello all, I just applied to SJSU's program. I don't think I'll get in. My 30 last units gpa is 3.39, my pre req gpa is 3.23, and I scored 90.6 on the Teas, which means my impaction score is 10.24. Though one part of me says that I may have a chance because students who already have bachelor degrees aren't alllowed to apply anymore (this is the first semester the rule is in effect), and there were several of them in the previous classes....I think someone told me there are about 15 every semester? Your thoughts?
