New grad RN job with no connections?
Definitely on the same boat. I also graduated this past May and passed the NCLEX in the middle of July. I am beyond exhausted and stressed out with these hundreds of applications I sent out and only getting the dreaded rejection email. I applied to hospitals, LTC, and subacutes... all desiring at least 1 yr experience... I emailed/called HR and they are of no help. People weren't lying when they said finding a job is a full time job in itself ... what am I doing wrong?

Cooper University Hospital Application Status
Hi everyone! I'm a new grad AND I am going crazy finding a stable job in a hospital (ideally) or a nursing home! I just checked the status of my application online for Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ and it said that it is "under review" as opposed to "received submission" or "submitted, not considered". I was wondering if anyone checked their status and it said "under review" and ended up getting an interview! I'm hoping to get the job there, because it really is my number one choice hospital right now! Please let me know! :redbeathe walkingonthemoon, RN

Genesis Healthcare Nurse Residency Program
I know this thread is over a year or 2 old, but I have a question regarding this program. The nurse recruiter just emailed me and said that she is awaiting details on the new cohort for the new RN residency program coming up. She is going to contact me once she has news on the location and start date. The recruiter is from South Jersey, so the location will probably be in one of the branches in South Jersey. Is anyone in the program right now? And did you apply to that specific program, or did you apply to a certain RN position and a recruiter just told you about the program (similar to my situation right now)? There are no indications on the website that there is a new RN residency program, so I wouldn't have known about it if the recruiter did not call me. Any other details will be helpful! Like, salary and hours you usually work (shift: 8 hr or 12 hr). Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :redbeathe Walkingonthemoon, RN

Accelerated Program in New Jersey
I am currently an undergrad student majoring in bio, and I applied to SHU accel-BSN program. I took pretty much all the prereqs except dev. psych and ethics, but got a C+ in a&pII b/c my professor was ridiculous, and I was juggling a lot of hard classes that semester. Should I take it again just to see if I can get a better grade? All my other prereq classes I got A's and B's, even organic chem and I suck at chemistry. My application is already in so I'm just waiting. I'm kind of nervous. Anybody from past years can give me advice on this? Thanks =]
