  1. I'm registering for classes right now and so far I have Aphy101 for the first 8 weeks and now I'm trying to register Aphy102 for the second 8 weeks and it will not let me. Says Prereq error. What should I do?
  2. Where to start.. I've finally decided nursing is for me. I just recently had my son back in July and I'm hoping to start classes this January (Spring 2010). I've planned everything out and I'm very sure I would like to apply for the Spring 2011 RN nursing program. I'm well aware that in order to do that I will have to complete ANP101 this Spring and ANP102 this summer. Does anyone have any information about taking ANP102 over the summer? Was it very difficult? How time consuming? What was your schedule like? Also, I was told before that taking ANP online wouldn't count toward getting into the nursing program. Is this true? I'm planning on taking ANP 101, English Comp, and Intro to Psychology this Spring while taking care of my 6 month old while I'm not in class. Am I taking on too much? Has anyone else started during the Spring and how long did it take you to finish the program completely? Thanks so much!!
  3. Thanks. So what I'm understanding from the pre-reqs listed on the site for the RN program is I must take Anatomy and Physiology I and Anatomy and Physiology II, English Composition, Life Skills Elective, Introduction to Psychology, and then I have to choose one to two from the lists below which has public speaking, the art of geometry, etc. and they're all counted towards my chances of being accepted? I'm assuming they will take me atleast a year and they must all be completed before I apply? Thanks so much for your help. I'm clueless at this point. I'll definately be attending a session.
  4. So basically you can't test out?
  5. Hello, I have several questions i'm hoping I can get some help with. I have been accepted to Ivy tech Community College-Central Indiana, and I need some help with figuring out the nursing program. I originally applied with the major of Elementary Education but now things have changed. I'm very interested in getting into their nursing program. To the point, the cut off for the fall program is the day after tomorrow (which I obviously won't be able to make), would there happen to be a spring program coming up in 2010 I can apply for? Also how does the program work? Pre-reqs - what are they and who has to take them? How long does it take to get into the nursing program, when should I try, and what all/procedures are needed to be taken to be able to officially apply for the nursing program?
