I havent found a job yet. I am still waiting for responses on my applications. I went online and found nursing homes near my place and went to each one and filled out an application. sometimes they tell you if there is an opening but most of the time they dont. You'll get the usual.. we'll get back to you. I think it would be easier for you because you have healthcare experience. the closest thing to healthcare i did was be a receptionist and transcriptionist at a doctor's office. i also applied to some doctor's offices.. the offers were way too low compared to nursing homes. there is a job fair on thursday april 16 at new brunswick. check www.nurseguide.com for info. hope this helps you in any way! goodluck to us! :)

it's been a month and a half since i started looking for a job as an LPN and still i haven't found any. I am a newly grad LPN with no healthcare experience. I've gone to most of the nursing homes in my area and it's either there are no openings or they need somebody with experience! so frustrating! experience doesn't just fall from the sky.. somebody has to train somebody to gain experience.. where else can i apply?
