  1. Wow...I wonder if the Carrollton students are having the same issue. They have an exam on the 7th. Hopefully they figured it out. Keep me updated!
  2. They said you have to get the tutorial code from the instructor. I figure you should call the nursing school and get the code from them. Let me know if they give it to you or if we have to wait for our instructor. Thanks...
  3. Hey, I purchased mine already. You have to click the semester payment option and purchase it like that. It will be on there for 150. You can get to it by clicking on the Elearning link. Let me know if you need more help.
  4. Cool...I have two small children and a husband so I am hoping that the program wont be too intense. See you in Class. Look out for me. I am short with dreadlocks! lol
  5. I am so EXCITED!! My husband and I might move to Newnan next year. He is starting the education program at Westga. I am just glad that I am no longer in the "trying to get into nursing school" boat. Now I just have to focus on getting through the program. How do you like Newnan?
  6. Hey...Ok, I will be at the Newnan campus due to some family issues. I cant wait to meet you. My name is Brooke. Email me sometime if you want to chat. Do you live in Newnan? I am in Cobb county.
  7. Well Congrats on getting into the program!!!! I decided to go with Carrollton. I am not working right now and will not be throughout the rest of my college experience (hopefully). I just have to worry about getting the kids squared away. I chose Carrollton because I was told that I can always drop down if it is too much. I am still excited all the same....
  8. Hey...I got accepted into the Newnan program for 2010. I am trying to decide whether to go with the full-time Carrollton program or the part time Newnan. They said I could get a spot in Carrollton if I want to. I have two small children and a husband. Im just afraid that the fulltime may be too much, but I do want to finish sooner...any suggestions?
  9. Thanks so much guys...I will be speaking with my husband to make sure that he is mentally prepared...
  10. Wow, sound like you had alot more on your plate. My husband is pretty domestic and is good with helping around the house with things so I know that he will be able to pick up my slack in those areas. The only problem would be the cooking part. lol. I am pretty excited. Plus, my nursing school gives you the option of dropping down if its too much so...thanks again!
  11. I would really appreciate any advice that you guys have to offer. I am a fulltime pre-nursing student at GSU. I have a 3.65 GPA and I am hoping to score very well on the NET to get into nursing for the spring 2010 semester. I am contemplating on whether or not I should do the accelerated or traditional program. The accelerated program is 16 months long and the traditional program is 3 years long. I have already been in school for 3 years and I am so ready to get OUT, but I do not want to rush and overload myself and then drop out anyway. My husband and I will be married for one year come November, my daughter will be 2 in July and I am expecting my second child in October. Has anyone in a similar situation done a fast paced nursing school program and got through it? 16 months v.s. 3 years...16 months sounds great, but is it worth it? Please offer any advice!
