  1. Hello everyone, I have been an LPN since 1972 graduating from Thomasville Vocational School in Thomasville, Ga. It is called something else now. Anyway, I live in Jacksonville, Fl and have been keeping both state nursing licenses active. My dilema is that I haven't been keeping track of when my Ga. license expires this year, and that is not like me at all, but this year has been hectic in many ways. I really don't have the funds right now to renew my license on the 31st of March. I am hoping to pay late because all my funds right now needs to go elsewhere. My question is what happens if I can't renew my license on time? Will I be able to get it back with a late fee, or will I have to take a test again? I hope they have a reinstatement period to where all I have to do is pay a late fee. Please if someone knows what I have to do to get my license back let me know. I have been on the Ga. nursing board website but it is so confusing and I can't find the answers. Thank you, Donna
