  1. I will have med-surg and psych this last year i have the summer off of nursing classes(taking micro) and i am already dreading going back for another year
  2. Is the second year of nursing school harder or easier than the first year(in an ADN Program)?
  3. no there was no test out done in lab. i wish there was!
  4. Last semester i hardly got any experience i didn't have to give any bed baths. I gave oral meds twice. all i did were assessments. This semester looking at the syllabus i will be doing alot more. Many other students in my class gave injections, iv meds, bed baths, wound care, and many other patients. i confronted my instructor last semester asking for more complex patients and still continued to get easy patients. I am afraid that my instructor will expect me to know alot more than i do. In addition last semester i had major anxiety the night before clinicals and got only a few hours of sleep. I went to my doctor and told her about my anxiety and she told me to push throught. Help what can i do to survive second semester with major anxiety and hardley any experience.
  5. i love working at the elliot there are many nice people here. There are some work politics, if there is a place where that doesn't exsist sign me up. Accepting a job at elliot i believe so far has been one of my best career moves. I am not a RN yet. Hope to graduate in 2011.
  6. really they look at healthcare experience? i work at elliot and i am not sure how they would know that? Maybe my references- maybe that is what helped me besides a good gpa and nln score- and having all my classes done
  7. Much better than a straight out rejection right? according to allnurses many people do apply to many schools and they can't attend them all . There is still hope especially if she sounded like there was, they don't usually give false hope to people.
  8. I am getting an A!!!!! I am very excited...i was worried for a while. I hope you get in esokitty. Call them there is still hope.
  9. I just called admissions at nhti, they told me that they are waiting on a grade for one of the classes i am taking this semester. As long as i get a C or above they said i am in. This is why i never recieved an acceptance letter. I hope that helps for the ones who haven't got a letter. They are still making decisions with some people.
  10. March 11th!!!!!...I am calling them on monday
  11. Did you get your letter in the mail yet. I am going crazying and checking the mail religliously.
