  1. Hello! I have recently made the decision to go back to school to a direct entry masters programs. I have been continously taking science courses in preparation to get my RN (i hold a bachelors degree in psychology), but have decided a better option might be the direct entry masters. Question! Anyone have adivce on which programs exist/are good in massachusetts? ANY advice would be appreciated. We are still talking a few years out...thanks so much!
  2. sorry! i need to edit this to add that I dont hold an official acceptance letter from Mass Bay...they only sent me the credit transfer eval. and said I woud get a letter. I'm just basing this on the..."IF i get in" theory.
  3. Hi everyone! So, i have been battling with this for almost two weeks now...I need someone to help me weigh the pros and cons...no one in my family is quite educated enough in nursing programs to be able to help me effectively! I was accepted to Umass Boston- But unfortunately, not for nursing. They admitted me to the Health Science program, saying there is always a chance to transfer into nursing. I already hold a bachelors degree, and have completed all my prereqs. My end goal is to hold a second Bachelors in nursing. I was also accepted to the Mass bay ADN program. I have a lot of credits that will transfer into this program, so I could likely complete it a very reasonable amount of time. Then I woudl go back to get the bachelors. The catch: Mass bay is an hour from my house. UMB is 25 minutes. I need help figuring out which program might get me closer to my goal quicker. Does this dilemma make sense to anyone?? I honestly cannot make a choice....!! Help...!
