Hi everyone! I just got called to interview for Duke's Snip program in the Ped bone marrow transplant unit! I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this floor and what it's like. Also does anyone have any tips for interviewing with Duke? Thanks!

You will probably have clinicals on Wednesdays from 6:30am until around 12:30. The first few are at a nursing home either in SF or Espanola then the rest of the clinicals are at st. vincents or Espanola's hospital. I believe their are 10 clinicals total. Lab days are Mondays and thats when you do your skills like catheters, ng tubes, etc and I believe lecture was on Tuesdays/Thursdays. You have most Fridays free. Congrats on getting in! I was reading a really helpful post the other day and forgot to bookmark it Someone had mentioned a book that had clinical procedures along with pictures of each step. Does anyone have any ideas what it may be called? It wasn't an actual textbook, more like a study guide of the procedures. Thanks!

Hey there, I have heard the hesi is similar to the teas. I would go to borders and they should have a study guide from Mcgraw Hill that is pretty good (lots of practice tests). Also, try the website testprepreview.com, they have tons of practice tests. They might have a section for hesi, if not I would study their section on the teas test. When did Itt tech open a nursing program?? We're getting so many private colleges in abq, hopefully it helps lessen the wait at cnm :)
