  1. Hi, That is a really good question. Since I am not starting until January I am hoping to apply for some scholarships. I need to get moving on it. Also, I did apply for financial aid and I know I am going to have to take out some loans. Sorry I can't be more help but I strongly suggest doing some research on scholarships. Are you starting in January? Good luck. Beth Anne
  2. Hi Kristi, We are supposed to have CPR certification by December 1st. They recommend getting it done through the American Heart Association so that it will be valid for 2 years. I just got on their website and signed up for BLS for healthcare providers. Are you talking with them about availability for the spring. I am done right now with everything. I am just getting all of the stuff done that I need before school starts. I hope that a spot opens up for you. I know it is hard to wait. Thanks for keeping in touch. Beth Anne
  3. Thanks Theresa! I will check it out. Talk to you soon. Beth Anne
  4. Hi Theresa, Thank you for the e-mail. I am looking forward to starting as well. I am looking right now for a BLS class. Luckily I don't have any required classes to take this term so I can focus on getting ready. What area of San Diego do you live? I live in Solana Beach right off of the 5 so it won't be that much of a commute. Thanks so much for connecting and I am looking forward to talking. See you soon. Beth Anne
  5. Hi Kristi, I am sure you will be able to attend in the spring. Everyone's plans change and people go to different schools etc. I am planning on staying in Solana Beach. I live right off the 5 on Lomas Santa Fe so the commute is reasonable. I am hoping I can start a carpool to ease some of the commuting. Have you done your BLS? I am looking at several different classes. I am hoping to do one at Scripps Encinitas. My husband is an RN so he is good about giving me good advice. I do have some anxiety about the amount of work. My husband recommends a good study group and spending every spare moment studying. It should be quite the challenge. Are you doing any pre-reqs right now? Luckily I am done with my pre-reqs so I can just focus on BLS, getting shots etc. Anyway, thanks for your e-mail reply and I will talk to you soon. Beth Anne
  6. Hi Theresa, I am also going to be in the San Diego eenap cohort for Spring 2010. I am very excited to get started. I am also looking forward to meeting everyone. It has seemed like such a long road to get to this point....See you in January:) Beth Anne
  7. Hi, I have been looking through the azusa posts and I saw this one that said that you are in the spring 2010 eenap cohort in San Diego. I am also going to be in that cohort. Are you still going to go? I thought I would try and connect with some of the class. I am getting very excited and I am ready to start. Hopefully, I am replying to the right person. Hopefully you are still attending in the spring and we can trade e-mail. Take care. Beth Anne P.S. I noticed you mentioned North County. I live in Solana Beach.
  8. Thank you. I will look into Rio. If anyone has other suggestions that would be great as well.
  9. Hi, I have read many posts about online a&P. I was wondering if anyone knows of an online anatomy class. I am finishing up physiology right now and want to do an online anatomy. Thanks in advance for the help! Elizabeth
