  1. thank you sunshine and caliotter for your replies and encouragement, and congratulation to diva; i am so happy for you. i took the exam twice; there are lots of medications that i don't even know so i want to focus more on medications, but it's hard to memorize everything in details esp. each med we need to know the action, nursing interventions and side effects. does anyone have any suggestion what book make it simple to memorize all these. i just borrow a book [color=#004b91]prentice hall's reviews & rationales: comprehensive nclex-rn® review (prentice hall nursing reviews & rationales series). i read the content and i think it's pretty good because it breaks down into 8 sections: managment of care, safety and infection control, health promotion and maintenance, psy integrity, basic care and comfort, pharmacology and parenteral therapies, reduction of risk and physiological adaptation. does anyone know if this book is reliable?
  2. I graduated from nursing school in 2006. I am so scared, during those 3 years I took the NCLEX-RN twice but did not pass the exam. Now I feel so depressed and hopeless at the same time. My family have financial problem so I try to apply for a part-time job as student nurse/PCA but nowhere accept me. Is it because I got out of school for so long without any experience? This makes me worry even if I got my license, is anyone going to hire me since I graduated 3 years ago? Please assure me on this. I am so overwhelm with everything now especially I don't know how to start studying for the NCLEX again. I took Kaplan before, read their books and did the online questions but still couldn't pass the exam. I borrow several books but don't know which one to focus on: Saunders Comprehensive Review, Mosby's Comprehensive Review, or NCLEX-RN Review Make Incredibly Easy? For anyone who passed the exam, which other books would you recommend? Please share with me some of your valuable thoughts. I really appreciate your help and advice.
