    Hello I am considering moving to texas as an surgical ICU RN with 8yrs exp. However with this economy, I'm wondering if I should just stay put in LA, CA for job security. I want to leave LA because housing is still too expensive or not worth the 300-500,000 they are still asking for. Anyone have any idea on how nurses are fairing in this economy in TX? Any thoughts, or comments to help with my decision would be appreciated.
