No. I've thought about doing the same thing last year and I even contacted the Board of Nursing in Hong Kong trying to see if I can just get a permit to work for a year without having to sit for the exam but they told me I still have to go through the same process to obtain a license. Do you have a BSN or MSN? I'm not sure if it would be easier for a MSN to teach nursing in HK?? You might not need a nursing license to teach, but I'm not sure. Don't quote me on this. I found a post here that talks about relocating to hong kong as a nurse: https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/hong-kong-advanced-488648.html it sounds pretty discouraging!
  2. Are you trying to do it through an agency?? I'm pretty sure that you will have to take their licensing exam in order to work there. Here is their website: http://www.nchk.org.hk/en/home/index.html and there are forms to fill out. It seems like its gonna be a long process as they only hold the exam once a year.
  3. Yes..right here. I graduated from UMB. This is a wonderful site. Gd luck on ur first clinical.
  4. Just curious as to how many new grad currently had a job offer or just started working as an RN in the boston area. And if you don't mind can you also tell me which hospital.. just to give people like me some hope:bow:
