    Thank you for your help.
  3. I've been research various careers and had some questions about nursing. How hard is it to get a job in a doctor's office as opposed to a hosipital especially for new grads. (Seems like most the nurses on the board work in a hosipital.) What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your input. Right now I'm researching different careers trying to find one right for me. I've always been interested in medicine. How hard is it to get a job in a doctor's office right after school. Do you work fairly normal hours there? What are the advantages of working in a hospital over a doctor's office? Also in a hospital how long do you have to pay your dues until you get the day shift? Thanks again
  5. How hard is it straight out of nursing school to find a job where you don't have to work nights or evenings or maybe just an evening once a week or so. I don't want to work too many evenings and miss the time when my kids are out from school and I'm not sure I can get my sleeping patterns worked out working nights. Thanks
  6. I am thinking about entering the nursing field. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a nurse? I keep hearing nursing is challenging excatly how is it? I like the idea of working helping people, and I read medical books in my spare time. I would be especially interested in hearing from anyone who has worked as a nurse and in another profession.
