There is another meeting coming up at the HNS building at NGCSU. The ad on the hallway said that the conference will be held Monday the 20th (tomorrow) at 12:15 PM in the "conference" room. Not sure which room is that one, maybe the one on the second floor. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'm going, since I have classes before and after the conference. Adrian

FutureRN_2011, I'm thinking about attending that meeting as well, but It is scheduled for a Monday, and Mondays I have classes at NGCSU. I'm planing on taking some classes at GSC this summer, like MATH1113, Micro, French1002 and such. What are you taking?

mlvangil, I'm going for my ASN and meantime I'm doing the required core classes for BSN. At NGCSU there is a bridge program between ASN and BSN, it takes 3 semesters which is one calendar year, start in fall and finish the last fall. I believe it's something like a day/week and some on-line classes. That's my plan. Any other questions? Adrian

I got my packet with the checklist also...and I'm planning on taking some classes at Gainesville over the summer, anyone else taking anything over the summer?

I'll be 28 by the time we start the ASN program. I'm married, no kids yet (have to finish school first ). Last year was my first year in college ever. My background is in construction industry (mainly hardwood floors and tiles). It's good to have classmates with life experience, I believe that it makes the relationship with the instructors somewhat more approachable. Are you guys and gals going to summer school @ Gainesville? I'm shooting for the BSN and I'm taking as many core classes as I can b/c once the core classes are done, the BSN program takes only a year, one day/week . Maybe we can set-up a "meet-and-greet" before the program starts, what do you guys think? Adrian

Congrats to all of you who are accepted in the nursing program at NGCSU. I'm a guy who got accepted in the ASN program, got the letter on Feb. 14th...a very beautiful day indeed! Gainesville is my campus of choice. It would be great if we can connect before the program starts, at least we won't be all "alone". Being male, I know I'll be on the minority side I'm looking forward to know you all, the class of 2011!
