Hello- I am trying to see if I can get in touch with some fellow Stony Brook class 2010 future students about some details of the program. It doesn't appear in our acceptance packet that they give us any info about getting supplies (uniforms, equipment), which I was surprised about because I know other schools provide a detailed list of the necessities in their acceptance packets. Also, I am trying to find some roommates for an off campus apartment/house in Stony Brook (I won't have a car). Is anyone else in the same boat and starting to think about what they're going to do for living? Basically would just like to connect with some of my soon-to-be classmates so we can pick each other's brains. Thanks!

Hello- This is my first post on AllNurses. I am attending the Accelerated BSN program at Stony Brook starting in July 2009 and am just trying to do some research about living off campus. It appears that there are a number of apartments within walking distance of campus, but a lot of them are listed as being available now (in April) instead of in July, when I'll need to start a lease. Is anyone else looking to live off campus? Is there a better place for the class of 2010 to congregate online and try to run things like this by each other? Thanks
