Hey, Yes it is by a point system. Just because one is invited doesn't grant them admission. There is still a process that day after they speak about the program to meet with a counselor down the hall which they will line up according to your points. Next that counselor will check your profile and if you qualify you choose your day. Shortly after they send you over to the next building to register. Good luck!

Katrina526 & Pompo, Good morning! Happy New Year to all! I start my NURS 130 for spring this week and I noticed on the calendar on angel it says we have a pre-test on math. YIKES! I wonder if it will count or is it a practice test? I am so scared---did you guys take it already, and if so if you don't mind is it basic math, conversions, or like algebra? Any information is appreciated. Thanks so much.

Thanks. I think they see if we have our courses done before they tell us to take the test. I do have all my pre- reqs done but not at Hudson.

Thank you, you're so helpful! I am a transfer student and have all my pre-reqs done. I took classes this semester to establish a GPA to apply to their program. I already handed in my consideration form and unofficial transcript. Now I guess I wait to hear back from them???? Now suspense begins. Although, Trinitas is not the only school I applied to. I applied to Bergen and Christ. I was accepted to Mountainside but was put on a waiting list for next summer. My goal is to get into a program this spring. Time is just being wasted away.

Vinster, I get what you are saying but now there's a letter for consideration that we must fill out and they are being accepted from today - 11/30th. I just don't understand how these classes are filled already if we are applying to start in January.?>?>! I apologize if I am not understanding correctly. I appreciate your clarification and postings.

You're so sweet! I would like psychiatric nursing but who knows, once were in we might be influenced by some other specialty. I think that's so endearing how you want to give back and inflluencing every person that comes in contact in your life. The sky is the limit! By the way, ditto to your last sentence!! Hey guys I have a quick question. I applied for the spring 2012 and just for the heck of it checked on webadvisor and all of Trinitas' classes were filled. How is that possible if the nursing 130 form for consideration starts today? I am so confused. I then looked at Muhlenberg and they have open classes. I know people are starting to register for spring but where would that put all the nursing applicants that have finished all their pre-reqs?

Wow! That's amazing and you must have incredible patience! God Bless! I've always wanted to be in the healthcare world. I love learning medicine and anything that has to do with that field. Naturally, things didn't go the way I planned and our life's obligations got in my way. I worked for a world investment center in headquartered in Jersey City while I was taking classes to get my pre-reqs. I knew I couldn't manage both so I resigned from my job and started working at a psychiatric hospital in the U.R. department -- since finance is what I knew. OMG! I loved it. My department was like my family. They were RNs and they encouraged me even more to be a nurse and hopefully one day work with them. So from there I've been obtaining my credits and working there until I had two back surgeries and eventually I was laid off from work. So after extensive rehabilitation and will power I decided to do healthcare marketing. I did that for a year and wasn't too thrilled of how the physicians were let's say unprofessional.... With my luck, I was in an accident a couple yrs ago and now I am back to where I was--enormous intolerable pain. I am waiting to be scheduled for surgery but I refuse to let anything get in my way. So here I am today, taking courses at UCC to establish a GPA to get into Trinitas, waiting for NLN PAX RN to post Christ, and anxiously waiting on BCC. Oh did I mention I am frazzled...lol! So nursing to me is more than a professional nurse. I want to reach out and educate people and let them know they are not alone. I am not a soul healer but I listen, have patience, and believe I have the desire and compassion to be an outstanding nurse. Every day I see new reasons why I need to be a nurse.

Oh guys...tick tock dock!! As far as the loans, I think you can apply thru webadvisor too under financial aid or something like that. I am already CPR certified, got thru Chilton Hospital. This will be expensive but this is our investment.

For that reason, I am taking classes at Union to establish a gpa. Boy I tell you, you name it I've done it! I am trying so hard to be accepted and taking credits everywhere. Don't be discouraged...if nursing is what you really want then go for it. Never give up! At times we all get discouraged but we can't succumb to negativity. I love the idea of social work too because you are helping people for the better and making better choices.

Awww, thanks! I am the same way. I have done all my pre-reqs at Bergen Community College and have taken the HESI to get into their RN Program for the January admission. Currently, I'm attending Union County College to establish a GPA to get into their Trinitas Program for the January admission. They do not have any pre-testings like the TEAS or PAX RN. It's been changed now where it's a simple one page form to fill out regarding one's credits and grades. Although I applied to Christ I do not got to Hudson. Also, I was told by a Christ student that actually works for the school that you needed a 50% to pass the NLN. Don't get so hung up about the score or what you need to pass and do your best. I know it's nerve wrecking but we can do it. I learned not to put all my eggs in one basket and I suggest the same to everyone.

JerseyGirl6, I had no clue we can take our S.A.T's --I thought if we had already it can be waived, no idea it's an option. Well, no I haven't studied for it but I just took the HESI for another school. I've taken the NLN PAX PN and they say it is the same for the RN except the score. Is there still a test available? I contacted the school and they told me that they are still posting test dates. As of this morning, I haven't seen any.

Hey guys! I too took the test and averaged out at a 88. Did you guys notice when taking the test that you are not allowed to change your answer??? Once clicked your doomed. I took my test at night and it was by 10 pm when I got out so yea I might of clicked my mouse a couple times by mistake.... so I found out the hard way. So beware! I read that some say you can check webadvisor to see our admission status to the program. So far nothing..... Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations!!!!!! It must feel so good and we are all proud of you! I still yet have to sit for my exam. My computer was acting strange but for some reason when I log onto my boyfriend's computer it allows me on the nln website---but on mine it wouldn't. I only see Cumberland College and no Hudson. I am getting very worried.

RP30, I have a quick question. How do you check to see what's the current average on the HESI on Bergen's site? I saw some posts where you posted the average. Thanks and best of luck!
