I am a first time traveler, and am looking at traveling in CVICU in San Antonio. I was offered a job in NM for 15/hour and and $116 per day in Per Diem. I of course refused, because i don't want to go to NM. I just want to know what is a decent wage is for SA? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm interested to know what kind of interview it is also.

Has anybody got their letter for an interview yet? I'm starting to sweat bullets!

I'm studying a lot. I am retaking the GRE tuesday and I'm waiting to see when the interviews are to schedule my CCRN exam. I've paid for it just getting ready for it. I've only been an RN for 1 year so I've got to knock their socks off in the interivew.

I sent an email as well. I just want it to get here and over so I can know if i need to plan to move.

If excepted I'll be moving by myself. I've delayed starting a family until I can afford to support them. Also, I got an email saying we should expect notification of interviews by mid-april, and interviews in May. Hope we all make it.

I have applied for this coming year, but the interviews are not until June i do believe.

I do have acls, and will take pals. I just bought a book to help with the CCRN. With CVICU I feel like i get a lot of experience with hemodynamic monitering. I do mess with vents a lot, but it's just until they wake up. I have tons of experence with pressors already, and sedation, but i feel like i'm missing out of a lot of longer term problems. So I got a job in CCU/ICU at another hospital. I will retake the GRE, and study like crazy before my interview if i'm granted one. I will also try to get the CCRN before my interview. If i do not get in, which i'm not a realist and i'm not betting the farm on this year, i will take it as a learning experience and use it for 2011. next question.....Does anyone know anything about the Union University program? How the interview goes, and what the main questions are?

I am applying to CRNA school for 2010. I have a 3.4 gpa in last 60 hrs, 3.5 science and stats gpa, and a 3.23 overall gpa. I scored a 910 on the GRE, and will take it again if I have to. I have 3 letters of recommendation, 1 from a teacher, 1 from my nurse manager, and 1 from a close friend, all with MSN. I currently have 7 months experience in CVICU, and by the time the interviews take place I will have a year. When the school starts I will have 1.5 years of experience. What I am asking is for yall opinion of if I stand a chance of getting into CRNA school? All replies are appreciated.
